Too Much Drama

It was a nice cozy Saturday night. The girls were just chilling out, either bullshitting in the kitchen, watching TV in my room, or just hanging out in Jerusa’s room. A couple of minutes after midnight, Raine came back from the club.

Apparently, her night in that club turned into a disaster. One British jackass she went with was trying to sleep with her by making her high. That jackass gave her ecstasy pill, and Raine was not strong enough to say no. The good thing was, she decided to leave immediately after drank it. So, here she was, sleeping over in Taylor House.

Later that night... disappointed by a friend who promised to be all ears whenever I need someone to talk to... "whenever you need to talk, I am just an email away from you... I am just a phone-call away from you"... yeah, right!!!!

Sunday morning around 12 pm, Raine knocked on my door. Ida, who happened to slept over in my room, open the door. And Raine told us in panic, “There are police officers in Jerusa’s room. They knocked on the door and I opened it. The police said that they’re looking for Jerusa for some stolen credit card thingy. They have warrant.” Mother freeze!!!! What else now?!! Is it just a joke??!!!

Half an hour later, after the police officers left, Jerusa told us the story. There has been a large criminal ring took place in Keele. The suspects stole some letters from students mailbox, especially letter from bank or other letters that consisted of personal data. Then it was used to apply for credit card and stole the money. Apparently, Jerusa was one of the victims.

Afterwards, we had lunch together in the kitchen. Talking about what happened within these 24 hours since last night, Raine and the jackass, Jerusa and the police… what a drama! What else is most interesting in life than waken up by the police officer? Hah!

We’re still having lunch and talking. Jerusa, Ida, Sheetal and I were just joking and talking about crap, while Bona, Dunya and Raine were involved in quite serious talk about Raine’s problem last night. Suddenly, out of the blue, Raine burst in tears. She felt so guilty and blamed herself for what happened last night. Ugh, it always makes me nervous to see somebody’s crying before my very own eyes. Enough! Now I need a cigarette to chill out… it was too much drama for a night, can’t stand it! ftd!
