I am fresh. I am happy. I am ready to do anything, but work (as always!). You want to know why? I just had one hell of a cool weekend in Kepulauan Seribu (Ahem, I deliberately refuse to translate the words), or in Pulau Pramuka to be precise.
On Saturday morning, we took off from Muara Angke by a chartered ojek boat. It was not a fancy boat like most tourists use when they're off to Pulau Seribu, but it's still pretty cool, though. It took around 3,5 hours to get to Pulau Pramuka.
Upon arrival, all of us (around 20?) straightly went to Delima Cottage nearby the pier, put our bags in the room, freshened up a bit, then gathered back again for lunch.
Later on, we played some game for ice-breaking, considering we didn't really know each other. well, it went quite alright, the ice started to melt down. Then, we all walked down to see some turtles. afterwards, we're ready to do some stretching in the water, then continued by snorkelling around the beach.
In the evening, we had dinner and just chilled out, preparing our stamina for tomorrow's activity.
Sunday morning, the sun shone quite brightly, which was good for our plan. After breakfast, we did some stretching again, and then off to Karang Balik Layar by boat, ready for another snorkelling. Got to admit that the underwater panorama there was amazing, though maybe it's not the best.
After snorkelling around for about 3-4 hours, we're on board again, headed for Pulau Semak Daun for lunch. Chilled out by the beach, with meal on your hand, fags afterward, nice view for your eyes... how beautiful life was!
On our way back to Pulau Pramuka, we're off the board again in, did more snorkelling, swam to Gosong Pramuka (a mound of sand that would become an island in the future), then boated back. Whoah, what a tiring activity for a day, yet exciting!
And we spent the rest of the evening chilling out, grilling some fishes, and chatting, till quite late at night and the bed was calling. Got to hit the bed soon, because in the morning we had to wake up early (again!) to catch the ojek boat to go home.
Twas definitely one fantastic weekend I ever had since last September. Got new experience, met new interesting people, and saw some cool underwater scenery (though I can't remember the name of each fish and coral, due to some restrictive memory capacity).
Now I am fresh, happy, and ready to do anything. The world is my oyster now... ftd!
